When you’re looking for a motorcycle, it’s easy to get stuck choosing from functionality and style. But this year, things might be changing for the better meaning maybe, you won’t have to choose one over the other the next time you buy a bike. Read on to learn more about some of the best motorbikes…

Take a look at five of the best motorbikes.

2018’s latest releases are packed with handsome upgrades and for the budget-conscious, here’s some good news: High-end brands have also released affordable units that are definite lookers.

BMW R Nine T Pure

The BMW R Nine T Pure is a budget-friendly model for its brand. For $11,995, you can get a motorcycle that can get you out of traffic using its 110 hp horizontal twin engine with 86 lb-ft of torque. The bike will also be suitable for a ride to the canyons. It has a good braking system with four-piston fixed callipers, easy access rear brake and a reliable ABS.

The Pure has the right amount of vintage feel and is customisable if you want to add your personal touch to it or turn it into an all-around motorcycle.

Indian Scout Bobber

Not all motorcycles are meant to make you look like you’re a rebel without a cause, the Scout Bobber has a quiet confidence that appeals to minimalists. It has a liquid-cooled 1133cc V-twin that has 100 hp. This year, its front suspension was upgraded to a cartridge style fork and the rear lowered. This gives you better handling and comfortable rides even on bumpy roads. The downside is that it’s not recommendable for long rides.

You can get this for $11,500 that makes it a steal considering all its features.

Triumph Bonneville Bobber

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber has a lot going on. It has a new twin rotor brake setup that’s much better than the one it had before. In addition, riders can comfortably sit on its floating hard-tail because it adjusts to riders of any size. Cruise control comes with a push of a button and flipping the brakes or the clutch deactivates it. Its parallel twin engine makes 77 hp and has a torque of 78 lb-ft.

For $11,900, you get a lot more than what you pay for the Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

Harley-Davidson Street Bob

Harley-Davidson had mixed the Softail and Dyna to make the Street Bob lighter and easy to drive through curves. It has the new Showa dual-bending valve fork under the seat that makes driving over potholes and other bumps easy. The unit’s Milwaukee V8 engine has a displacement of 1,746cc with a 110 lb-ft torque and some say it wouldn’t do so bad being a solo cruiser.

The base price of the Harley-Davidson Street Bob is $14,500.

Aprilia Shiver 900

Bikes from Aprilia have an aggressive look but the Shiver 900 naked bikes are beginner-friendly. Several upgrades meant increases in its price but for $9,400, you get a really good deal because of its features. It has four-piston braking callipers with 320 mm floating rotors that are clamped and the rear has a 240 mm single rotor.

This makes it easy for new riders and welcome for experienced ones because it has a soft initial response and has ABS. Its engine is an 896 cc V-twin that produces 95 hp and doesn’t have harsh vibrations.
