How about a family-wide Secret Santa event? If you come from a large family it can often be overwhelming thinking about buying a separate gift for each member. Instead of individual gifts, put all your names in a hat and have everyone select one name. It’s fun, secretive, and really allows you to focus on giving something great and thoughtful to one person rather than stretching the Christmas budget to shop for everyone.
Give the gift of time
This may sound silly but the people you love would probably much prefer to spend quality time with you. Instead of showering them with lavish gifts, buy tickets to go somewhere together, whether it’s a concert for a band you both love or even just the movies. It will be much cheaper and also help to create wonderful memories.
